2nd Annual MLK Day Business Forum

Just as Dr. King worked to remove barriers, this forum is designed to remove the barriers to starting or maintaining a successful business. FREE and open to the public, the event will feature workshops such as Business Plan Writing, Financial Access, and Marketing. Panelist and presenters will include some of the area's leading entrepreneurs, including Warren Anderson, founder and CEO of Ohio's largest African American owned business, the Anderson-Dubose Company.   • Protecting Your Ideas: Intellectual Property Rights – presented by AlpaMicron Inc.
  • The Artist Forum – presented by Alenka Banco, Artistic Director of Josaphat Arts Hall
  • Business Plan Writing – Presented by the WECO Fund
  • Small Business Marketing

Luncheon Panel Discussion:
The panel will feature accomplished entrepreneurs who will share their business experiences and thoughts on the current economic crisis, as well as respond to questions from the audience.
Panelist:
  • Warren Anderson, President and CEO, The Anderson Dubose Company (largest African American business in Ohio)
  • Alenka Banco, Artistic Director, Josaphat Arts Hall (one of Cleveland’s most exciting art centers, and a stunning historic adaptive reuse project)
  • Ken Lanci – Chairman and CEO, Consolidated Graphics Group (considered one of the most technically advanced graphic arts production companies in the Midwest)
  • Dominic Ozanne, President, Ozanne Construction (a construction services company whose projects include: CMSD school construction and UH campus expansion)
  • Arlene Watson, Principal, Mobius Grey (a groundbreaking marketing firm that has worked on some o the region’s most important projects, including the Euclid Corridor)
